Why would the referee manufacture a non-existent penalty? Why would he punish the Croats for a non-existent foul on Brazil's goalkeeper leading to what should have been an equalizer?

And why should Croatia wait till going behind to show their true colours?

In all, did the better side win? Maybe not so comprehensively as the score line but the answer i...s still yes. Neymar(thank God he didn't miss that penalty), Oscar, Alves were all for it.

Luca Modric is any coach's dream any time...but his side should have known that playing against a host expected to go all the way, there's nothing like small sin on the plate. Any little jig gets punished. Your team was well organized till the penalty...then you committed what Brazil smartly avoided doing when they were behind - going all out for the equalizer without caution!

Does Brazil look like next World Champions? Too early to call but playing with an anonymous striker like Fred is still Brazil's weakest link!
