In a well considered judgement earlier today, the Anambra State Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal upheld the election of Chief, Dr. Willie Maduabuchi Obiano [Akpokuedike] as the dully elected Governor of Anambra State in the Novemeber 16th and 30th governorship election in Anambra.

All the consolidated petitions filed my Dr. Chris Nwabueze Ngige of the APC, Comr. Tony Nwoye of PDP and Dr. Chike Obidigbo of APGA were dismissed for lack of merit.

We congratulate His Excellency, Dr Willie Obiano, his Deputy, Dr. Nkem Chukwukaodinaka Okeke, His Excellency, the immediate past Governor of Anambra State, Chief Peter Gregory Obi, CON [Okwute Igbo nine], Agadagbachiriuzo and our National Chairman, Ohamadike Chief, Sir Victor Umeh, Dike Udo, Barr. Joe Martins Uzodike and the entire APGA family on this deserved victory, even as we await the nay sayers at the Appellate level should the voice of reason not suffice at this point.

Meanwhile, let's celebrate and savour this victory!
